The Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) has deployed 20 more vehicles to assist the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 in the fight against the dreaded virus in Sokoto state.
In a release signed by Mr Festus okoye, a national commissioner and Charman of INEC’s Information and Voter Education Committee, vehicles are meant to facilitate the movement of medical personnel for contact tracing.
The commission stated that it will continue to collaborate with all agencies and stakeholders to combat the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.
