By Dele Adesina SAN

On behalf of myself, family and staff of Dele Adesina LP., I commiserate with the family of our distinguished leader in the Profession, Chief Emmanuel Abiodun, former Chairman of Nigerian Bar Association, Ibadan Branch, a man of excellence in character and learning, an authentic leader of Egbe Amofin and a proven distinguished gentleman. Chief Abiodun reportedly transited on Wednesday, 23rd of December, 2020.

Chief Abiodun was a great leader with profound regard for truth, honesty and integrity – virtues he demonstrated in abundance at all times and in all situations in his lifetime. To him, truth is the foundation of all knowledge and the cement of all society. He was a man of principle. He recognised in his lifetime that leadership without legacy is a failure.

Chief Emmanuel Abiodun left not just a legacy but also a befitting posterity for the family and for us his followers. I knew him far back as a Bar Leader about 1996. He was a lover of peace. As a man of peace on earth, I am confident that he is resting in perfect peace in God’s bossom.

My condolences and those of my family and staff go to the members of the family. May God Almighty fill the vacuum his transition has created in the lives of the family, both organic and extended, the members of Egbe Amofin both leaders and followers and members of the Nigerian Bar Association.
