In its efforts to assist in optimizing freight clearance processes in Nigeria, Valuehandlers International has launched a Customs Duty Calculator software. The software, which is the first of its kind in Nigeria is aimed at helping importers and shippers instantly calculate customs duty.

On the click of a button, the software, which was developed by a team of researchers from Federal University of Technology, (FUTMinna) headed by Prof. Musa Abiodun Aibinu accurately calculates customs duty payable to the Nigeria Customs by simply providing import details..

With the duty calculator, importers and stakeholders such as CEOs, Procurement Officers, Site Engineers, Ecommerce Merchants, Freight forwarders, clearing agents and others can now calculate duty effortlessly on their own. This brings convenience, assurance and quick response time to importers. It is also fast, free and simple to use.
