What a man wishes, he always get. Thus sums up the life of former governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi who died on Thursday afternoon in Lagos. He was 70 years old, the age he had always wished to die.
At a tafsir in the just concluded Ramadan, Ajimobi in a radio programme at Splash FM, Ibadan revealed in Yoruba language that he had always wished to die at 70.
“My father died two months to his 70the birthday, so I had always wished I could lived to that age. It is now that the goodies of life has come that I am supplicating to the Almighty Allah for longer life”, he said.
