Remains of Sir Remi Omotosho for burial at Ayedun-Ekiti, July 10

The remains of the former Group Managing Director, Odua Investments Ltd, Sir Remi Omotosho will be laid to rest on Friday, July 10, 2020 at his Ayedun-Ekiti, Ekiti State country home.

Sir Omotosho died in Lagos on Friday, June 5, 2020, after a brief illness.

According to the program me released by the family, a copy of which was obtained by Gavel International, the burial rites of the late business guru begin on Friday, July 5, 2020 in Lagos with an evening of tributes. On Tuesday July 7, 2020, another night of tributes will hold in his Gbagada home, and on Youtube.

A commemdation service will hold on July 8, 2020 at Hoare’s Memorial Church, and on Youtube.

Lying in state of his remains will take place at his Gbagada, Lagos home and on YouTube from 6.30am to 7.30 am on Thursday, July 9,2020, after which the remains will be taken to Aiyedun-Ekiti, State.

Christian wake keeping service at the Methodist Church Cathedral of His Glory, Ayedun-Ekiti, and on YouTube at 5pm to 7pm on Thursday, July 9, 2020followed by lying-in-state at his residence.

Funeral Service will hold at 10am on Friday, July 10 at the Methodist Church Cathedral of His Glory and on YouTube, after which the remains will be interred.

The family enjoins the deceased teeming associates and friends to the programmes online in accordance with government regulations. “All events will be strictly online”, the programme stated.
