President Donald Trump has fired the Director, Cyber Security and Infrastructure Security Agency CISA, Chris Krebs, for vouching the reliability of the 2020 election that delivered victory to Democratic Party, Joe Biden.

The sacking of Krebs, a Trump appointee, in a tweet last evening, comes as Trump continues to refuse to recognise Biden’s win.

Since his defeat, Trump has been removing high level officials seen as “insufficiently loyal”. He fired his Defence Secretary, Mark Espar on November 9.

Trump sacked Krebs because he ( Krebs) insisted , along 59 other elections security experts at CISA that ” there was no credible evidence of computer fraud in the 2020 elections “
