Eminent Senior Advocate of Nigeria(SAN), Prof Yusuf Olaolu Ali has bagged a honorary doctorate degree in Law of the University of Abuja( now Yakubu Gowon University), Abuja.
The news was contained in a letter signed by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof Hakeem B. Fawehinmi and dated March 23, 2026.

CONFERMENT OF THE HONORARY DEGREE OF DOCTOR OF LAWS (LL.D)
On behalf of the Governing Council, Senate, Management, Staff and Students of the University of Abuja (now Yakubu Gowon University, Abuja), I have the profound honour to inform you that the Governing Council at its 83rd Extra-Ordinary Meeting approved the Senate recommendation of your conferment with an Honorary Doctorate Degree, Doctor of Laws (LLD).
