He was also taken on a guided tour of the facility to familiarise himself with the organisation’s structure and operations.
Describing his appointment as an honour and privilege, Olujuwon praised the movement for its grassroots mobilisation, community engagement and efforts to promote the achievements of the Tinubu administration.
He said he had been following the group’s activities and was impressed by its efforts, adding that he was ready to contribute to its objectives and the President’s second-term ambition.
According to him, Tinubu’s administration has made a positive start, making it important for Nigerians, particularly young people, to support the ongoing reforms and ensure continuity in governance.
“President Tinubu has started on a good note, making it necessary for Nigerians, particularly young people, to join hands to sustain the ongoing reforms and ensure continuity in governance,” he said.
Olujuwon also cited salary payments, infrastructure development and investment opportunities as areas in which he believed the country had recorded progress.
He maintained that the gains should be sustained through continued support for the administration.
He expressed confidence that another term for Tinubu would allow the government to consolidate its achievements and deliver more dividends of democracy to Nigerians.
The former president’s son also disclosed that he had been a member of the All Progressives Congress since 2014.
He noted that members of his family were free to hold different political views and pursue their individual interests without hostility.
He said his family “allows members to hold independent political views and pursue our political interests without animosity”.
Welcoming him to the movement, Asuku described Olujuwon as an experienced political figure whose understanding of politics and governance would strengthen the organisation’s mobilisation activities.
He expressed confidence that his experience would contribute to expanding the movement’s reach and advancing its objectives across the country.
“We are certain his experience and understanding of political mobilisation would strengthen the movement and advance its activities across the country,” Asuku said.
The appointment comes as political groups and supporters of Tinubu intensify grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general election, with efforts gathering momentum to secure the President’s re-election.
