Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Iba Gani Adams, former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode are two of several Nigerians that have eulogized the late Senior Pastor of Synagogue Church of Nations(SCOAN), Prophet Temitope Joshua whose rites of passage is currently ongoing.
This is even as foreigners continue to troop into the country to witness the burial. Moreover, tributes and testimonies continue to pour in about the exploits of the late man of God and the several ways he touched people. There were tributes from Asia, America, Australia and Africa and home Nigeria as well.
On Tuesday, the officiating ministers include Pastor Robert Acosta from Argentina, Bishop Williamson of Bahamas, and apostle Eduado Canas from Colombia. Citizens of Greece, Spain, UK, America, Australia, Sudan, Indonesia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi few to mention all we’re at the church to pay tribute and give testimony.
Fani Kayode who was full of gratitude to the man of God narrated how he saved him from Kuje prison where he was detained by a particular Head of State which he did not mention. According to the former Minister, he miraculously received a call from Joshua while in Kuje prison. “A man I had never met, I don’t even know when and how he got my contact. The man of God told me to be strong in the Lord and that I should not give up. After our conversation he told me that I shall be released in 3 days and really the 3rd Day I was released. He further said that for the past five years he related with the prophet, he has never regretted. He described TBJ as a supernatural being.
Gani Adams, in his comments with the media said TB Joshua has done so well in terms of evangelism and humanitarian deeds. “I will never forget him likewise many generations to come will never forget him”, he said.
He pointed out that a lot of Presidents, both serving and former ones across the globe have one way or the other visited this church. “We were inside there with one of the African great King from Malawi, Willard Mswati Gomani”, he said.
Several people who attended the Tuesday programme gave testimonies of how Prophet Joshua provided help to people on education, both home and abroad
A Nollywood star, Femi Branch said lamented how the late prophet was blackmailed while he was alive. “We were deceived about the prophet of God, yeah they brainwashed us that TBJ was an evil man but today the truth has prevailed as you can see testimonies from across the world. My regret is that I have never met him before, this should be my first or second time of being here in synagogue”, he lamented.
