Some Important Facts Nigerians Should Understand About Iran and Israel

Iran is not an Arab country; it is predominantly Persian. Israel is not a Christian nation; it is predominantly Jewish. The Jewish people practice Judaism, not Christianity. In Israel, both Christianity and Islam are minority religions, with more Muslims than Christians. Iran has a larger Christian population than Israel, and there are more Arabs in Israel than Christians.

Preaching Christianity is easier in the United Kingdom and many African countries than in Israel. Iranians speak Persian (Farsi), and only a small minority speaks Arabic. Iran is the leading Shia Muslim nation and often finds itself at odds with Sunni Islamic doctrine, which is led by Saudi Arabia.

If your support for Israel is solely based on its mention in the Bible or the belief that it is a Christian country, or if your support for Iran stems from the misconception that it is an Arab nation or simply because it is predominantly Muslim, then your stance is not rooted in notions of right or wrong, international law, or justice. Instead, it is driven by religious sentiment. In that case, you are not standing for truth, fairness, or humanity; you are acting out of religious bias. Let us advocate for truth, justice, and human dignity, regardless of who is involved.

Black people around the world have a deeper historical connection to the land of Israel than both the Palestinians and the so-called Jews currently residing there. Both groups are relatively foreign to that land, with one attempting to annihilate the other.

The primary biblical verse usually invoked by Zionist Jews and Zionist “Christians” to justify the dispossession of Palestinians is:

*”On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram and said, ‘To your descendants I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates….’” Genesis 15:18.*

By “descendants,” God referred to the biological bloodline and DNA of Abram/Abraham, not to spiritual progeny. A brief study reveals that those today known as Jews are not the direct bloodline descendants of Abraham.

They are predominantly the non-Semitic and non-Israelite Ashkenazim and Sephardim, who, in later times, incorporated small numbers from other races that converted to Judaism, such as Poles, Russians, Ukrainians, and Germans. These individuals form a minority known as European Jews, and when combined with the Ashkenazim, they constitute a majority over the darker-skinned Samaritan, Sephardic, and African Jews. None of these groups can claim to be of Abraham’s bloodline.

It is crucial to understand the biblical and historical context regarding the majority of converted Jews, specifically the Ashkenazim and Sephardim, while remembering that:
1. *Abraham was a descendant of Shem—hence the term Semite or Shemite;*
2. *His descendant Jacob and his twelve sons formed the true biblical Hebraic Israelite nation with whom God made the Old Covenant (not with converted Jews); and*
3. *The true Israelite nation no longer exists, and their land inheritance expired with them.*

*“The LORD was very angry with Israel and removed them out of his sight… And the LORD rejected all the seed of Israel and afflicted them and delivered them into the hand of spoilers until he had cast them out of his sight.” 2 Kings 17:18, 20.*
This casting out occurred in 70 AD. Many perished, and their descendants are now scattered across Africa. Though the original generations have long since passed, their descendants still live today. You who are reading this could be one of those descendants. The people calling themselves Jews today are *ASHKENAZ.*

This is what the Bible has to say about the Ashkenazim in Genesis 10:
*“Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood.*
*The sons of Japheth: Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.*
*And the sons of Gomer: ASHKENAZ, and Riphath, and Togarmah.*
*And the sons of Javan: Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.*
*By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.”*
