Abdulhakeem Bala Na’Allah, the pilot son of Senator Bala Na’Allah has been killed by bandits. His death was among the three recorded on Sunday in two local governments in Kaduna State, Kaduna North, and Kajuru Local governments.
Abdulkareem, 31, was reportedly killed by the bandits at his Malali GRA residence in Kaduna North Local Government.
An aide to Senator Na’Allah, Malam Garba Mohammed, confirmed the killing of the trained pilot. Narrating how the deceased was murdered, Mohammed told NAN that late Abdulkarim was tied in his room and strangled, while the assailants escaped with his vehicle. Mohammed said that the remains of the deceased were buried on Sunday evening at Unguwan Sarki cemetery in Kaduna. He said that the father of the deceased was not in the country.
The late Abdulhakeem was a US recognized pilot who got his commercial pilot license at the age of 17. He was born on January 4, 1990. He was among the best pilots given recognition and listed in the database of United State’s Federal Aviation Administration’s Airmen Certification database in 2014. He however declined the opportunity to work in the US.
Meanwhile, during the Kajuru attack, it was said that the bandits invaded the Makoro Iri Village in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna States and killed two persons.
It was learnt that the bandits stormed the village and shot indiscriminately and killed the two on Saturday night.
The state Commissioner for Internal Secretary and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, identified the victims as Gideon Mumini and Barnabas Ezra.
The Commissioner also said that troops of Operation Safe Haven rescued travellers along the Gidan Waya- Godogodo road in Jema’a LGA of the state. He gave the names of the rescued travellers as Jibril Salisu, Happy Sunday and Ruth Dauda.
The Commissioner said, “Security agencies have reported to the Kaduna State Government that two persons were killed by bandits in Makoro Iri village of Kajuru LGA.
“According to the report, bandits invaded the remote village and shot dead the duo identified as Gideon Mumini and Barnabas Ezra.”
