The Chairman of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA Engr David Oladapo Famuyiwa has urged Nigerians not to hoard foreign currency as it may lose value very soon because to him, naira will appreciate to N650 to a dollar by December 2023.
Engr Famuyiwa, while addressing members of the All Progressives Party(APC) Mandate Group at the party’s office on Ekoro Road, Lagos predicted that the price of foodstuffs will soon come down for the benefit of the Nigerian people. “I have confidence that by this December, we shall buy a bag of rice for N20,000 naira”, he said.
He therefore urged all Nigerians to support the reforms being carried out by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration saying that it is in the best interest of the people and the country. “I can assure you that with President Tinubu, Nigerians are going to laugh and be happy. We just have to trust that he is doing the best for the country”, he said further.
He urged members of the Mandate Group to stay united behind Tinubu and APC. He said Ward meetings is about to start and that every member must attend Mandate Group ward meetings where he is sure they will benefit from the dividends of democracy.
Present at the meeting are executive members of the LCDA, Elder Abiodun Ayilara, Chief Olamigoke Philips, Mr Olusegun Shodiya, Mandate Group Chairman, Hon Leke Adeyeni, Dr Bernard Ajayi, and Hon Lekan Arepo.
