Benin, Nigeria (TheGavel) – The Edo State House of Assembly has confirmed the nominations of five members to the State Civil Service Commission.
The nominees, Lalla Aluyi, Ehi Obaseki, Gilbert Adegboyega, Julie Olatunji, and Margaret Ohiowele, were approved by the House Committee on Rules, Business, and Government House. The committee found the nominees to be qualified and suitable for the positions.
Governor Godwin Obaseki had previously submitted the nominations to the House for screening and confirmation. Following the committee’s approval, the House confirmed the nominees as Chairman and members of the commission through a voice vote.
In addition to confirming the civil service commission nominees, the House also passed a bill to establish the Edo State Digital Government. (NAN)
