Egbe Amofin Oodua holds first annual conference

Egbe Amofin Oodua, the association of Yoruba lawyers in Southwest Nigeria will host its first annual conference from June 14- 16, 2023 in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The conference is expected to be chaired by the Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu SAN, while his Oyo State counterpart, Seyi Makinde is the special guest of honour.

The theme of the conference is: “The Legal Profession in Nigeria: A Rebirth”. It is expected to be a professional pilgrimage especially for lawyers of Yoruba descent.

Speakers at the event include Abuja based lawyer, Kayode Ajulo, Oyo State Attorney General, Prof Oyelowo Oyewo SAN, Mrs Titi Akinkawon SAN, Director General,DAWN Commission, Oluseye Oyeleye, and Fela Durotoye. The host is Chief Abiola Olagunju.

Events lined up for the conference are expected to give delegates unparalleled opportunities to share knowledge, build contacts and develop business.

The Conference serves to advance the development of Nigerian law and its role in the development of the society, to forge a way forward over the plethora of current regional and national challenges.
