The Ekiti Central Elite Movement has thrown its full weight behind Dr. Daniel Yemi Olayinka, who is contesting for the House of Representatives seat in Ado/Irepodun/Ifelodun Federal Constituency 1 ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a declaration made in Ado Ekiti, the group said its decision followed consultations with stakeholders across the constituency. The movement described Olayinka as a credible and accessible aspirant with deep ties to the grassroots and a clear understanding of the challenges facing the people.

According to the statement signed by the group’s coordinator, Hon. Adebomojo JP, the elite body resolved that Ado/Irepodun/Ifelodun needs a representative who will prioritize youth empowerment, education, infrastructure, and job creation. They said Olayinka’s record of community service and advocacy shows he is prepared to deliver effective representation at the National Assembly.

The movement urged residents across Ado, Irepodun, and Ifelodun local government areas to unite behind Olayinka, noting that the constituency requires a strong voice to attract federal attention and projects. It called on party leaders, women groups, youth associations, and traditional institutions to support the bid.

The group added that its endorsement is based on competence and capacity, not sentiment, and promised to mobilize across wards and polling units to ensure victory in 2027.
