The commission has received and securely stored all non-sensitive materials for the council polls. Sensitive materials will be received a few hours before the elections. “ENSIEC is fully prepared for free, fair, and credible council polls on Saturday,” Ngwu emphasized. “We want all eligible voters to come out en masse to elect their preferred candidates without fear or favor on the D-day.”
Approximately two million voters are expected to participate in the council polls. ENSIEC has recruited 12,800 ad hoc electoral staff to ensure the smooth conduct of the election.(NAN)
