Fed. lawmaker, Akande –Sadipe mourns Rep. Akinremi

The chairman of House of Representatives Committee on Ethics and Privileges, Hon. Tolulope Akande-Sadipe (APC-Oyo) has described her late colleague, late Olaide Akinremi, as patriotic and passionate lawmaker.

Akande-Sadipe said this in a statement she issued in Abuja on Thursday.

“ Jagaban was a beloved and admired colleague, known for his unwavering dedication to his constituency and the broader development of Oyo State“, said Akande-Sadipe

She further said Akinremi had passion for public service, adding that his commitment to the well being of his constituent was always paramount.

“As we mourn his passing we remember and celebrate the remarkable contributions he made during his time with us.

“Jagaban’s legacy of service and love for his community will continue to inspire us. May his soul rest in perfect peace ‘’ Sun re o, Jagaban’’

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that Olaide Akinremi, popularly known among his fellow lawmakers as Jagaban, passed away on the July 10 at the age of 51 after a brief illness.

He represented Ibadan North Federal Constituency of Oyo State in the House of Representatives. (NAN)
