Fire guts Airport in Lagos

An early morning fire on Wednesday morning engulfed the International wing of Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja, Lagos.

According to reports, the fire broke out in various areas of the luggage hall at the country’s busiest airport.

According to sources, the fire had already damaged a piece of the FAAN administrative building the night before.

As of the time of writing, all passengers and workers had been requested to leave the premises, and the Lagos State Fire Service was on the scene to assist the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).
