A new twist was on Friday added to Nigeria’s political landscape as a Militant Group, Niger Delta Reserve Force released a video in support of the candidature of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Godwin Emefiele, who purchased his APC Presidential nomination form to contest for the presidency same Friday morning.
The militants leader in the video, General Jack Fineboy promises that the group will lay down its arms, and help put an end to kidnappings and oil bunkering in the Niger Delta if Emefiele is given the presidential ticket. He reiterated that his group is not against the Federal Government but fighting for the development of the Niger.
He therefore urged APC delegates to vote Emefiele as “you receive your dollars at your conference in Abuja.
