Umuahia, Oct. 1, 2024 (TheGavel) – Chief Sam Onuigbo, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State, has expressed pride in Nigeria’s progress as the country celebrates its 64th independence anniversary. Onuigbo, who serves as the South-East representative on the Governing Board of the North East Development Commission (NEDC), urged Nigerians to rally behind the current administration.
In a statement issued to the media in Umuahia, Onuigbo emphasized the importance of national unity and the immense potential of Nigeria’s citizens, both at home and abroad. He praised the country’s millions of brilliant minds excelling in various fields globally, demonstrating the nation’s strength and potential.
Onuigbo, who previously represented the Ikwuano/Umuahia North and South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives from 2015 to 2023, underscored the need for Nigerians to support government efforts aimed at overcoming national challenges. He also highlighted significant achievements in the tertiary education sector and acknowledged the resilience of the Nigerian people, despite numerous challenges.
