The Ondo State Commissioner for Youth Development and Sports, Mr Saka Yusuf-Ogunleye, has advised for dialogue to resolve disputes to achieve amicable settlement.

Yusuf-Ogunleye stated this while interacting with executive members of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) in the state on Tuesday in Akure.

The commissioner tasked the council members to preach the gospel of dialogue and to sensitise youths in the state on why dialogue remained the best way to achieve results.

“This is the time to sensitise Ondo State youths more on how best to liaise with relevant stakeholders on addressing issues rather than taking laws into their hands.

“I’m part of you in all spheres and my boss, Gov. Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State, as a responsive and proactive governor will always give a listening ear to your demands and yearnings.

“I urge you to engage other youths and ensure that dialogue top your agenda at all times ,” he said.

Earlier, the Chairman of NYCN, Mr Babatunde Omomewo, appreciated the commissioner for his fatherly role.

“You’ve been supportive and we believe you can still do more as we push to achieve better things.

“We have been sensitising our youths across the state and we won’t relent. This is a promise from us to you,” he said. (NAN)
