Salmwang Succeeds Baderinwa as Lagos State Coordinator of NYSC

Lagos, Sept. 23, 2024 (TheGavel) — Mrs. Christiana Salmwang has officially taken over from Mrs. Yetunde Baderinwa as the Lagos State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

The announcement was made in a statement by Mrs. Olatoye Christy, Assistant Director of the Information and Public Relations Unit at NYSC Lagos State, on Monday. The statement read, “A new coordinator has just been transferred to the NYSC, Lagos State Secretariat, after the redeployment of Mrs. Yetunde Baderinwa to the NYSC Headquarters in Abuja to assume a higher position.”

Salmwang is noted as the 24th individual to hold the position of Lagos State Coordinator for the NYSC.

Mrs. Salmwang holds a degree in Sociology from Bayero University, Kano, and a Master’s Degree in Defence and Strategic Studies from the Nigerian Defence Academy.

Having joined the NYSC in 1998, she has a wealth of experience, having served in various capacities in Kaduna, Plateau, and Enugu States, as well as at the NYSC Headquarters. (NAN)
