Barely a week after his name came out in the Senior Advocate designate list for 2021, former Vice President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Adekunle Akanbi Ojo successfully defended his Doctoral thesis at the University of Abuja.

Ojo was a former Chairman of the Ikeja branch of NBA, before he was elected Vice President of the association.

The Aramoko-Ekiti SAN designate and Doctorate degree holder has served the bar association in several capacities. Members of the NBA, Ikeja branch celebrated him on their platform, calling him a kind, unassuming and charismatic leader.

“Dr Ojo is a worthy mentor, epitome of humility and embodiment of honesty, a kindhearted man with loving heart, a trailblazer. He just concluded his Ph.D in law at the Faculty of Law, University of Abuja. He has successfully defended his Ph.D thesis and has been so conferred accordingly with the title Doctor of Philosophy in Law. This is a worthy addition to the recent award of SAN.
