SCOAN announces T.B Joshua burial rites

Several people across the world have continued to pay tribute to the late Senior Pastor and founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), the late Prophet T.B Joshua even as the church announced his rites of passage which comes up from July 5-11, 2021. 

This hint was revealed at a press conference held by the church on Tuesday June 29 to herald the burial rites which has been tagged “Celebrating the life and legacy of Prophet T.B Joshua(1963-2021)- Not mine but God’s own”.

The Prophet died on June 5, 2021, a few days to his 58th birthday which was to be on June 12, 2021. Even in death, his popularity has continued to soar. The church records that his followers on social media, particularly Facebook increased by 600.000,  reaching a total of 6,2million which no church or pastor in Africa has ever had so far.

SCOAN stated: “His supernatural call home was met with an outpouring of millions of testimonies and tributes from 195 countries-representing every tribe, every tongue, and every nation on the face of the earth”.

The laying to rest event starts will be shown live on Emmanuel TV, GOTV, DSTV, and on Facebook stream. The candlelight on July 5 is expected to be private, only for church members. July 6 and 7 are tribute services from  10am to 7pm that are open to the public with limited seating due to the  pandemic challenges. Services of songs all night praises start by 12 midnight open to the public still with limited seating. July 8 lying in state between 11AM to 5pm this event is open to the public for people to pay their last respect to God’s servant TB Joshua.

The church stated that it is working with the Lagos State government and the ministry of health both state and federal level to ensure that the current public health and security protocols as well as other general guidelines and regulations are observed throughout the duration of the event.
