A suspected rapist on Wednesday fled from the Samuel Ilori Magistrate’s Court, Agege, Lagos.
The suspect was said to have been being processed for remand before he jumped on a vehicle, scaled the fence and disappeared.
He was on trial for raping a teenager.
Reports said he had been taken to a holding cell by the police when it was discovered that he was not properly processed. He however fled while the police and prison warders were perfecting the arrangement.
The Lagos State Police Command is yet to comment on the matter.
