Two prime law firms, Tayo Oyetibo LP, and Twelve Legal have announced their merger. The two firms will continue with the name Tayo Oyetibo LP.
In a notification letter dated January 21, 2022, and signed by the Practice Manager, Olubukola Ojuri, with the merger, Mofesomo Tayo-Oyetibo has joined the Board of Partners of Tayo Oyetibo as a Partner. Mofesomo, prior to the merger, was the Managing Counsel of Twelve Legal.
The letter reads further: “Mofesomo Tayo-Oyetibo, an alumnus of University of Leeds, University of Bristol, and the Institute of Maritime Law at the University of Southampton, brings his wealth of experience and skills international arbitration and commercial law to the expanded firm;
Mofesomo was valued for his work in advising and representing clients with respect to dispute resolution and transactional matters across several market sectors. We are pleased to have him on board”, the statement concluded.
