Zamfara PDP Chairman Embarks on State-Wide Tour

Gusau, Oct. 9, 2024 (TheGavel)–  The Zamfara chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has initiated a working tour across all 14 local government areas of the state. This initiative is led by the state PDP Chairman, Dr. Jamilu Jibo-Magayaki, and aims to strengthen the party’s presence and unity within the region.

In a statement released on Wednesday by the PDP State Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Haliru Andi, it was highlighted that the tour seeks to promote peace, stability, and development within the party. This visit is part of the new leadership’s agenda to ensure transparency and accountability at various levels of the party, including state, local government, and ward levels.

The working visit included stops in Bakura, Talata Mafara, Maradun, Shinkafi, Zurmi, Anka, Maru, and Bungudu Local Government Areas. During these visits, the party chairman successfully inaugurated party caucuses in each area, in accordance with the PDP constitution.

Each local government caucus will be headed by the respective party chairman of that area, with members drawn from party executives, political office holders, and other party members. Additionally, Dr. Jibo-Magayaki presented PDP flags to the chairpersons of the newly established caucuses in the visited local governments.
