The Ministry of Finance building in Abuja’s Central Area went up in flames on Tuesday morning.
Firemen are reported to have arrived at the scene of the incident.
Recall that government agencies have been gutted by fire in the past. The most recent was the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN).
The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) have all been affected by fire outbreaks in the past.
