Elder statesman and former Federal Commissioner for Information, Pa Edwin Kiagbodo Clark, is dead.

The leader of the Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF, died on Monday at the age of 97. He was born on May 27, 1927, and died Monday February 17, 2025.

The death of the South-South leader was announced on Tuesday in a statement by Prof. C. C. Clark on behalf of the family.

The statement reads: “The Clark-Fuludu Bekederemo family of Kiagbodo Town, Delta State, wishes to announce the passing of Chief (Dr.) Sen. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark OFR, CON on Monday 17th February, 2025.
